MV Transportation

Case Information:

This is a Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) case brought by a former maintenance employee for MV Transportation, Inc.   The lawsuit claims that MV Transportation, Inc. shaved and/or docked employees’ hours to reduce and/or eliminate overtime hours in its Austin, Texas locations.

Employers that violate the FLSA are subject to double damages for all of the wages they failed to pay their workers. Employers are also responsible for an employee’s attorneys’ fees and costs if the employee prevails.  In the lawsuit, we are seeking to represent a class of MV Transportation’s Austin, Texas maintenance employees and are requesting lost wages, liquidated (double) damages, injunctive relief, attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses.
